What is Build with AI?
A global series of hands-on events run by the community, for the community, supported by Google. Last year close to 180,000 developers worldwide built with the latest Google AI at Build with AI.
When does it happen?
Events run between Feb 16 and May 31, 2026. Each city sets its own dates. Check the city page once it is live, or watch the Events list above as new chapters are confirmed.
Where are the events?
20+ cities across India. Some chapters are fully in-person, others are online or hybrid. Your city page will tell you exactly which.
Workshop or hackathon: what is the difference?
Workshops are guided learning: code along with an instructor, or run a thematic hands-on lab on a specific tool. Hackathons are rapid problem-solving: go from idea to working prototype on a defined challenge. Each chapter picks the format that fits its community.
What will I actually build with?
Google AI Studio, the Gemini and Gemma family of models, Antigravity, and Vertex AI. Plus patterns like RAG, AI agents (ADK, MCP, A2A), and multimodal apps. Codelabs cover beginner Vibe Coding through to advanced multi-agent systems on Google Cloud.
Who is this for?
Developers of all levels. From people writing their first app with AI to experienced engineers shipping production agents. Both beginner and advanced tracks are available across the program.
Is it free?
Yes. Events are free, community-organized, and most chapters provide lunch and refreshments. RSVP is required as venues have limited capacity.
Do I need to bring anything?
A laptop. These are hands-on workshops where you will write code, run labs, and ship something real. Mobile devices won't work. Bring your charger and set up your Google Cloud account ahead of time.

Yes. Apply to host via the form below. You will get the official organizer playbook, codelabs and workshop scenarios, speaker network, brand kit, and Cloud credits to support hands-on labs.
